HS2 completes deck assembly for Coleshill viaducts
11 Feb 2026- View and embed new drone footage showing the Coleshill East and West viaducts between the M6 and M42 in Warwickshire.
- Engineers working for HS2 have installed more than a thousand concrete deck segments to form the 600m long viaducts across the B4114 (Birmingham Road) and the flood plain of the river Cole. Download new photos.

- Tunnel boring machine, Mary Ann, travelled under the region’s motorway network, watercourses and key National Grid infrastructure without disruption
- Specialist tunnelling teams spent 652 days and nights working underground to complete the mission
