Old Oak Common Urban Realm designs - Western Parkland

Old Oak Common Urban Realm designs for public engagement. We are creating a new public park for local residents, workers and rail users to enjoy. Entering the parkland from Old Oak Common Lane, residents, workers and passengers will enjoy wide, fully-accessible paths all the way to the new station. This new public space will provide an important destination for people to relax or participate in a vibrant mix of activities including potential art installations, events and markets. The parkland will be maintained to a high standard all year round. The parkland will provide a rich tapestry of plazas, pocket gardens, lawns, tree and shrub planting, natural landscapes and a viewing point looking out over the Wetland Common and Station Plaza. The space is designed to be enjoyed in all weathers, day or night, all year round and is intended to become a much loved place for the local community.
