Warwickshire schools delight in receiving oak tree saplings from HS2
10 Mar 2022- HS2 donates 400 oak tree saplings to 12 local organisations in Warwickshire, including Water Orton School and High Meadow Community School
- The saplings will be used as centre pieces in local green spaces and as part of green educational programmes
- The saplings were grown from acorns from an oak tree at Coleshill

New HS2 landscape design will revive Midlands Heritage Hotspot
30 Jun 2021- Extensive new landscape and wildlife areas inspired by local heritage will be created around two new HS2 viaducts over the River Cole in Warwickshire.
- New footpaths and cycleways will promote active travel and enable people to explore the rich history of the area.
- Ponds and habitats will provide homes for amphibians, dragonflies, otters, great crested newts, reptiles and badgers.
