HS2’s ‘super-hub’ Old Oak Common construction site handed over to contractors Balfour Beatty VINCI SYSTRA
03 Aug 2020Construction of HS2’s West London interchange station, set to be the UK’s largest newly-built railway station, has reached a new milestone as the Station Construction Partner, Balfour Beatty VINCI SYSTRA joint venture (BBVS), took possession of the whole station site on Monday 27 July 2020. The handover marks the start of the next phase of work at Old Oak Common, where a brand new 14 platform high-speed station will be built.

Young Londoners to benefit from HS2 Community Fund award for summer basketball programme
31 Jul 2020Young Londoners in Ealing will benefit from a £5,213 grant secured today (Friday 31 July) being used to provide a grassroots summer basketball coaching programme and tournament. Ball Out Community, a charity based in London, has secured the funding following its successful application to the HS2 Community and Environment Fund (CEF).
