For World Environment Day 2020, CEO of HS2 Ltd Mark Thurston celebrates what is ‘the biggest environment project in Britain’, urges green groups to get behind the work, and provides 12 facts about the huge scale of the environment work being carried out on the entire HS2 project.

Cleveland Bridge, a world-leading steel engineering company involved in the construction of the Wembley Arch and the Shard, have produced twenty-four massive steel girders that will form part of the first bridges to be built on the HS2 project.
