HS2’s Main Works Civils Contractors have collaborated to introduce a pioneering new system for assessing tenders designed to increase efficiency and reduce costs for our supply chain.

The remains of Captain Matthew Flinders, the Royal Navy explorer who led the first circumnavigation of Australia and is credited with giving the country its name, will be buried in his home village of Donington, Lincolnshire, HS2 Ltd has announced.

Archaeologists working on the HS2 Curzon Street station site in Birmingham have reached a major milestone by completing the archaeological excavation of the 19th-century burial ground.
