HS2 Minister Andrew Stephenson is hosting an online event for small and medium sized businesses in Yorkshire and Humberside to demonstrate just how simple it is to register an interest in joining HS2’s supply chain.

HS2 Ltd, the company designing and delivering Britain’s brand-new high-speed railway, is encouraging communities in Crewe to take part in its latest public information event to find out more about plans for HS2’s arrival.

• Today [Thursday 2 September] marks the start of a unique project to transform the Grade 1 listed Old Curzon Street Station building in Birmingham.
• Midlands contractor KN Circet is leading a team of local restoration specialists on the 12-month project
