HS2 has published its annual Equality, Diversity and Inclusion report. The report shows how the company delivering Britain’s new railway is continuing to challenge its national supply chain, and the wider rail engineering and construction sectors, to champion inclusivity.

An HS2 construction site in London has held successful trials for two zero-emissions hydrogen fuel cell-based electricity generators – cutting carbon and improving air quality for workers and the local community.

• The funding will be used to continue a 40-year tradition by building a series of floral planters and establishing native pollinator trees in local parks, enhancing local green spaces.
• The town of Southam is close to one of HS2’s largest construction sites in the West Midlands near Long Itchington Woods in Warwickshire.
