HS2 Minister Andrew Stephenson is hosting an online event for small and medium sized businesses in the South East to demonstrate just how simple it is to register an interest in joining HS2’s supply chain.

HS2 Ltd has announced that it has been awarded the Platinum accreditation from Investors in People for its ‘We invest in Apprentices’ framework.

HS2 has obtained approval for an ambitious scheme which will use material excavated from the Chiltern tunnels to create 127 hectares of new chalk grassland, woodland, wood pasture and wetland habitats around the tunnel’s south portal.

HS2 today opened a new relief road around the village of Chipping Warden in Northamptonshire, allowing construction vehicles – and other through traffic – to avoid the centre of the village and the local primary school.
