Businesses in the North East of England are being encouraged to bid for millions of pounds worth of upcoming contracts supporting the delivery of Britain’s new railway, HS2.

HS2 today began the search for a specialist contractor to deliver the high-tech monitoring systems that will enable remote supervisory control of railway assets and systems by key operational personnel allowing the UK to run some of the world’s most reliable, safe and efficient high-speed rail services.
